I have another holiday drink to get you in the spirit. I barely go out to coffee shops to get my fix of caffeine. However, when I was in high school, I was team Starbucks. I went there religiously every week. Now, if I am in the mood for coffee, I mainly just make my own brew at home. I think it’s the price that turns me away now.
Nonetheless, I do love holiday drinks. So, I had to recreate my own version at home. It’s so easy to make and takes only a few minutes. Plus, you get to save a little bit cash so you can splurge on your holiday gifts.
It’s getting colder outside, and this is the perfect cozy drink. It tastes so good, and perfectly spiced. First, you brew a cup of coffee and warm some almond milk. You combine the two liquids with ginger, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla extract, nutmeg and brown sugar. Mix well and that’s it! Then, enjoy this tasty holiday treat!

- 3 cups of unsweetened almond milk, warmed
- ½ cup of brown sugar
